LV/MJ: Olivier Zahm Diary

Editor-in-Chief of Purple magazine Olivier Zahm created this short parody for New, Now documenting the last day of Paris, Fashion Week.

Zahm tells the story of his day through the lens of the trailer for the 1963 film Le Mépris or Contemp a film by Jean-Luc Godard starring the gorgeous french actress Brigitte Bardot.

Starting with the Louis Vuitton show in the morning and terminating with Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs exhibition opening at Les Arts Decoratifs the same evening.

El editor en jefe de la revista Purple, Olivier Zahm creó esta pequeña parodia para New, Now documentando el último día de la semana de la moda en París.

Zahm nos narra la historia a través de su lente basándose en el filme protagonizado por la guapa actriz francesa Brigitte Bardot, y dirigido por Jean-Luc Godard, Mépris ó Contemp.

Empezando con la pasarela de Louis Vuitton por la mañana y finalizando con la apertura de la exhibición Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs en el museo de las artes decorativas en Paris.

Vince Camuto: Cocktail

On May 17th, Vince Camuto welcomed the summer, with an exquisite cocktail celebrated in the boutique of Paseo Interlomas, Mexico.
The most recent opening of the designer in Mexico, was the special place where all the fashion lovers enjoyed an incredible afternoon.
Valeria Salinas, Ane Martinez, Karla Garcia O'Farrill and Jacob García, brand managers thanked the guests for attending and they admitted that we were the lucky and the first ones in knowing the Summer and cruise collection.
The night takes us back to a cocktail much like New York, delighting us in the delicious taste of Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, which was presented in his already acclaimed red sphere.
And speaking of New York, it was also a night full of surprises! An amazing prize was given to Maria Fernanda Herrera and her mom, and it consists of a trip to the Big Apple for a meet and greet with the designer and his wife Louise Camuto in the showroom located in this beautiful city.
It was the night of surprises and fun! By the way the new collection it's awesome, you should go and see what's new.
El pasado 17 de Mayo Vince Camuto le dio la bienvenida al verano con un exquisito cocktail celebrado en la boutique de Paseo Interlomas.
La más reciente apertura del diseñador en México, fue el lugar especial en donde se dieron cita amantes de la moda y disfrutaron de una increíble noche.
Valeria Salinas, Ane Martínez, Karla Garcia O'Farrill y Jacob García, directivos de la marca agradecieron la asistencia de sus invitados y confiesan que fuimos los primero en conocer la colección de Verano y temporadas crucero que le dan la bienvenida al Otoño.
La noche nos condujo a un cocktail Neoyorkino deleitándonos con el delicioso sabor de Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, el cual fue presentado en su ya aclamada esfera roja.
Y hablando de Nueva York, la noche también nos dio muchas sorpresas una de ellas fue el premio que recibieron Maria Fernanda Herrera y su mamá el cual consiste en un viaje a la Gran Manzana y un meet and greet con el diseñador y su esposa Louise Camuto en su showroom localizado en la ciudad de los rascacielos.
Fue la noche de sorpresas y diversión! Por cierto la nueva colección esta asombrosa deberían ir y ver que tienen para ustedes!

Chanel Cruise 2012/13

 

Remembering Marie Antoinette and the XVIII Century, Largerfeld presented Chanel Cruise Collection 2012-13 down the Château de Versailles. 

Lace and volume were the protagonists of this royal exhibition, counting with sixty-six models - including the male top model Jon Kortajarena. 

The famous Chanel tweed was accompanied with denim and other elegant fabrics that delighted the audience, even the runway was full of pastels tones it couldn't miss the Black&White also representative of the house of the Camellia. 

Based on the Baroque era, organic silhouettes turned the XVIII Century into a modern and a new stylish way of clothing, recalling the use of the crinoline.

Recordando a María Antonieta y el Siglo XVIII, el diseñador Karl Lagerdel presentó la colección Crusero de Chanel 2012/13 en el hermoso Palacio de Versalles. 

Encajes y volúmen fueron los protagonistas de esta Real exhibición, la cual contó con sesenta y seis modelos - incluyendo al top model Jon Kortajarena. 

El famoso tweed Chanel se vio acompañado de mezclilla y otras hermosas telas las cuales deleitaron al público sin duda alguna, y a pesar de que la pasarela estuvo llena de tonos pasteles no podía faltar el Blanco y Negro, un representante singular de la casa de la Camelia. 

Basado en la época Barroca, siluetas orgánicas hicieron que el Siglo XVIII se convirtiera en un nuevo y fabuloso estilo para vestir reutilizando y modernizando el uso del miriñaque (crinolina).
